Staff salaries

This section contains the salaries received annually by the senior managers at the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute, in accordance with article 8.1.f) of Law 19/2013, of 9th December, on transparency, access to public information and good management (Ley 19/2013, de 9 de diciembre, de transparencia, acceso a la información pública y buen gobierno).

Managing Director: CA meeting on 25/11/13, with effect from 28/11/13

  • Base salary: eighty thousand euros per year (€80,000/year)
  • Contracted bonus pay: fourteen thousand three hundred and two euros and ninety four cents per year (€14,302.94/year)
  • Performance bonus: maximum twelve thousand euros per year (€12,000/year)
  • In-kind compensation: provision of insurance premiums for illness or accident at work, within the limits determined by Royal Decree 439/2007, with a maximum of five hundred euros per year (€500/year)

Operations Manager: CA meeting on 16/01/14, with effect from 11/02/14

  • Base salary: eighty thousand euros per year (€80,000/year)
  • Contracted bonus pay: one thousand six hundred and eighty seven euros per year (€1,687/year)
  • Performance bonus: maximum twelve thousand euros per year (€12,000/year)
  • In-kind compensation: provision of insurance premiums for illness or accident at work, within the limits determined by Royal Decree 439/2007, with a maximum of five hundred euros per year (€500/year)

General Secretary: CA meeting on 17/03/14, with effect from 07/11/14

  • Base salary: eighty thousand euros per year (€80,000/year)
  • Contracted bonus pay: one thousand six hundred and eighty seven euros per year (€1,687/year)
  • Performance bonus: maximum twelve thousand euros per year (€12,000/year)
  • In-kind compensation: provision of insurance premiums for illness or accident at work, within the limits determined by Royal Decree 439/2007, with a maximum of five hundred euros per year (€500/year)

There is no redundancy in case of resignation, except in the case of one-sided dismissal by the manager (article 10.3 Royal Decree 1382/1985) or unilateral withdrawal from the company, in which case the compensation will be determined by article 11.1 Royal Decree 1283/1985, the equivalent of seven days’ salary paid in cash for the year of service, in a maximum of six installments.

President of the Board of Directors: no allowance is covered.

Directors: up to a maximum of €9,425/year (€856.81 for each ordinary meeting of the Board of Directors attended. In the case of delegation, the allowance may only be given for a maximum of two delegations)

There is no redundancy in case of resignation.
