BIO: 

Alberto Urueña, Deputy Director of the Observatorio de Red.es, holds a Phd in Economics and Innovation Management from the ETSI Industrial Institute of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Executive MBA by the Instituto de Empresa and Ingeniero de Telecomunicación also by the UPM. In the last fifteen years he has directed a wide variety of studies, reports and publications from the Spanish Government’s study centre responsible for monitoring the state and progress of telecommunications and the information society in Spain. He has also publications in scientific impact journals. Alberto’s research focuses on the sociotechnical and economic impact of technological change on society.
