Enrique Alegre is an Industrial Engineer that holds a PhD in Computer Science and is currently an Associate Professor at the University of León. He has been the principal investigator of a number of research projects, standing out two European projects against Child Sexual Exploitation, ASASEC and 4NSEEK, leaded by INCIBE. He has co-authored more than 160 publications, 40 of them are papers in high impact journals and is co-inventor of 11 patents. He also has carried out 11 research stays in Universities of United States, United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Malta. His research work is focused on Artificial Intelligent in general, and more specifically in applications of Computer Vision and Machine Learning to several fields, among them the cybersecurity one.
