Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2005-0705

Publication date:
02/05/2005
The GPRS-LLC dissector in Ethereal 0.10.7 through 0.10.9, with the "ignore cipher bit" option enabled. allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash).
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2005-0706

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Buffer overflow in discdb.c for grip 3.1.2 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code by causing the cddb lookup to return more matches than expected.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:
03/04/2025

CVE-2005-0739

Publication date:
02/05/2005
The IAPP dissector (packet-iapp.c) for Ethereal 0.9.1 to 0.10.9 does not properly use certain routines for formatting strings, which could leave it vulnerable to buffer overflows, as demonstrated using modified length values that are not properly handled by the dissect_pdus and pduval_to_str functions.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:
03/04/2025

CVE-2005-0760

Publication date:
02/05/2005
The TIFF decoder in ImageMagick before 6.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted TIFF file.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2005-0762

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Heap-based buffer overflow in the SGI parser in ImageMagick before 6.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted SGI image file.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2005-0766

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Unknown vulnerability in the sFlow dissector in Ethereal 0.9.14 through 0.10.9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash).
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2005-0815

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Multiple "range checking flaws" in the ISO9660 filesystem handler in Linux 2.6.11 and earlier may allow attackers to cause a denial of service or corrupt memory via a crafted filesystem.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:
03/04/2025

CVE-2005-0853

Publication date:
02/05/2005
betaparticle blog (bp blog) stores the database under the web root, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a direct request to (1) dbBlogMX.mdb for versions before 3.0, or (2) Blog.mdb for versions 3.0 and later. NOTE: it was later reported that vector 2 also affects versions 6.0 through 9.0.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2005-0941

Publication date:
02/05/2005
The StgCompObjStream::Load function in OpenOffice.org OpenOffice 1.1.4 and earlier allocates memory based on 16 bit length values, but process memory using 32 bit values, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code via a DOC document with certain length values, which leads to a heap-based buffer overflow.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2005-0001

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Race condition in the page fault handler (fault.c) for Linux kernel 2.2.x to 2.2.7, 2.4 to 2.4.29, and 2.6 to 2.6.10, when running on multiprocessor machines, allows local users to execute arbitrary code via concurrent threads that share the same virtual memory space and simultaneously request stack expansion.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2005-0005

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Heap-based buffer overflow in psd.c for ImageMagick 6.1.0, 6.1.7, and possibly earlier versions allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a .PSD image file with a large number of layers.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
