Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2016-2230

Publication date:
08/02/2016
OpenELEC and RasPlex devices have a hardcoded password for the root account, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain access via an SSH session.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2016-2201

Publication date:
08/02/2016
Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU devices before 1.8.3 allow remote attackers to bypass a replay protection mechanism via packets on TCP port 102.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2016-2200

Publication date:
08/02/2016
Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU devices before 1.8.3 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (STOP mode transition) via crafted packets on TCP port 102.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2016-0603

Publication date:
08/02/2016
Unspecified vulnerability in the Java SE component in Oracle Java SE 6u111, 7u95, 8u71, and 8u72, when running on Windows, allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to Install. NOTE: the previous information is from Oracle's Security Alert for CVE-2016-0603. Oracle has not commented on third-party claims that this is an untrusted search path issue that allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse dll in the "application directory."

CVE-2015-2012

Publication date:
08/02/2016
The MQXR service in WMQ Telemetry in IBM WebSphere MQ 7.1 before 7.1.0.7, 7.5 through 7.5.0.5, and 8.0 before 8.0.0.4 uses world-readable permissions for a cleartext file containing the SSL keystore password, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information by reading this file.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2016-0728

Publication date:
08/02/2016
The join_session_keyring function in security/keys/process_keys.c in the Linux kernel before 4.4.1 mishandles object references in a certain error case, which allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (integer overflow and use-after-free) via crafted keyctl commands.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2016-0723

Publication date:
08/02/2016
Race condition in the tty_ioctl function in drivers/tty/tty_io.c in the Linux kernel through 4.4.1 allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory or cause a denial of service (use-after-free and system crash) by making a TIOCGETD ioctl call during processing of a TIOCSETD ioctl call.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2015-8787

Publication date:
08/02/2016
The nf_nat_redirect_ipv4 function in net/netfilter/nf_nat_redirect.c in the Linux kernel before 4.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact by sending certain IPv4 packets to an incompletely configured interface, a related issue to CVE-2003-1604.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2015-8785

Publication date:
08/02/2016
The fuse_fill_write_pages function in fs/fuse/file.c in the Linux kernel before 4.4 allows local users to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a writev system call that triggers a zero length for the first segment of an iov.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2015-8767

Publication date:
08/02/2016
net/sctp/sm_sideeffect.c in the Linux kernel before 4.3 does not properly manage the relationship between a lock and a socket, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) via a crafted sctp_accept call.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2015-8709

Publication date:
08/02/2016
kernel/ptrace.c in the Linux kernel through 4.4.1 mishandles uid and gid mappings, which allows local users to gain privileges by establishing a user namespace, waiting for a root process to enter that namespace with an unsafe uid or gid, and then using the ptrace system call. NOTE: the vendor states "there is no kernel bug here.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
