Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2005-0254

Publication date:
02/05/2005
BibORB 1.3.2, and possibly earlier versions, does not properly enforce a restriction for uploading only PDF and PS files, which allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary files that are presented to other users with PDF or PS icons, which may trick some users into downloading and executing those files.

CVE-2005-0269

Publication date:
02/05/2005
The file extension check in GNUBoard 3.40 and earlier only verifies extensions that contain all lowercase letters, which allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary files via file extensions that include uppercase letters.

CVE-2005-0490

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Multiple stack-based buffer overflows in libcURL and cURL 7.12.1, and possibly other versions, allow remote malicious web servers to execute arbitrary code via base64 encoded replies that exceed the intended buffer lengths when decoded, which is not properly handled by (1) the Curl_input_ntlm function in http_ntlm.c during NTLM authentication or (2) the Curl_krb_kauth and krb4_auth functions in krb4.c during Kerberos authentication.

CVE-2005-1111

Publication date:
02/05/2005
Race condition in cpio 2.6 and earlier allows local users to modify permissions of arbitrary files via a hard link attack on a file while it is being decompressed, whose permissions are changed by cpio after the decompression is complete.

CVE-2005-0125

Publication date:
02/05/2005
The "at" commands on Mac OS X 10.3.7 and earlier do not properly drop privileges, which allows local users to (1) delete arbitrary files via atrm, (2) execute arbitrary programs via the -f argument to batch, or (3) read arbitrary files via the -f argument to batch, which generates a job file that is readable by the local user.
