Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2010-3254

Publication date:
07/09/2010
The WebSockets implementation in Google Chrome before 6.0.472.53 does not properly handle integer values, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2010-3255

Publication date:
07/09/2010
Google Chrome before 6.0.472.53 and webkitgtk before 1.2.6 do not properly handle counter nodes, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2010-3256

Publication date:
07/09/2010
Google Chrome before 6.0.472.53 does not properly limit the number of stored autocomplete entries, which has unspecified impact and attack vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2010-3257

Publication date:
07/09/2010
Use-after-free vulnerability in WebKit, as used in Apple Safari before 4.1.3 and 5.0.x before 5.0.3, Google Chrome before 6.0.472.53, and webkitgtk before 1.2.6, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via vectors involving element focus.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2010-3258

Publication date:
07/09/2010
The sandbox implementation in Google Chrome before 6.0.472.53 does not properly deserialize parameters, which has unspecified impact and remote attack vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2010-2874

Publication date:
07/09/2010
Unspecified vulnerability in Adobe Shockwave Player before 11.5.8.612 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors that trigger memory corruption. NOTE: due to conflicting information and use of the same CVE identifier by the vendor, ZDI, and TippingPoint, it is not clear whether this issue is related to use of an uninitialized pointer, an incorrect pointer offset calculation, or both.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2010-3244

Publication date:
07/09/2010
BbtsConnection_Edit.exe in Blackboard Transact Suite (formerly Blackboard Commerce Suite) before 3.6.0.2 relies on field names when determining whether it is appropriate to decrypt a connection.xml field value, which allows local users to discover the database password via a modified connection.xml file that contains an encrypted password in the field.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2009-4996

Publication date:
07/09/2010
Xfce4-session 4.5.91 in Xfce does not lock the screen when the suspend or hibernate button is pressed, which might make it easier for physically proximate attackers to access an unattended laptop via a resume action, a related issue to CVE-2010-2532. NOTE: there is no general agreement that this is a vulnerability, because separate control over locking can be an equally secure, or more secure, behavior in some threat environments

CVE-2006-7240

Publication date:
07/09/2010
gnome-power-manager 2.14.0 does not properly implement the lock_on_suspend and lock_on_hibernate settings for locking the screen when the suspend or hibernate button is pressed, which might make it easier for physically proximate attackers to access an unattended laptop via a resume action, a related issue to CVE-2010-2532.

CVE-2009-4997

Publication date:
07/09/2010
gnome-power-manager 2.27.92 does not properly implement the lock_on_suspend and lock_on_hibernate settings for locking the screen when the suspend or hibernate button is pressed, which might make it easier for physically proximate attackers to access an unattended laptop via a resume action, a related issue to CVE-2010-2532. NOTE: this issue exists because of a regression that followed a gnome-power-manager fix a few years earlier.
