INCIBE joins the European Health Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (EH-ISAC) to Strengthen Cybersecurity in the European Healthcare Sector
This initiative brings together more than 30 members from 12 countries, including healthcare organizations, sectoral CSIRTs, and key entities such as ENISA.

The National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE) has formalized its membership in the European Health Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (EH-ISAC), which focuses on cybersecurity in the healthcare sector. This initiative brings together more than 30 members from 12 countries, including healthcare organizations, sectoral CSIRTs, and key entities such as ENISA.
The European Action Plan on Cybersecurity for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers, launched by the European Commission on January 15, 2025, highlights the importance of ISACs as central resources for cyberthreat intelligence, fostering two-way information sharing between the public and private sectors and promoting trust-building. ENISA (through its Cybersecurity Support Center for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) plans to strengthen its support for the European Health ISAC with tools and information sharing, sectoral situational awareness reports, and by fostering a trusted community for tactical and strategic collaboration.
Joining the EH-ISAC will allow INCIBE to access cyber intelligence specific to the health sector, such as indicators of compromise (IoCs), vulnerabilities, best practices, and guides for preventing cybersecurity incidents. Furthermore, it will contribute to strengthening European and international collaboration channels, consolidating INCIBE's role as a cybersecurity reference node for the Spanish healthcare sector.
This membership represents a new step in INCIBE's commitment to the protection of critical infrastructure and the security of industry and citizens, aligning itself with the priorities set by European cybersecurity regulations.
