Description

Control Web Panel dns_zone_editor Command Injection Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Control Web Panel. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.<br /> <br /> The specific flaw exists within the dns_zone_editor module. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-20581.
