Description

Voltronic Power ViewPower USBCommEx shutdown Exposed Dangerous Method Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Voltronic Power ViewPower Pro. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that an administrator must trigger a shutdown operation.<br /> <br /> The specific flaw exists within the shutdown method. The issue results from an exposed dangerous method. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-22065.
