Description

The WM JqMath plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the &#39;style&#39; shortcode attribute of the [jqmath] shortcode in all versions up to and including 1.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. The generate_jqMathFormula() function directly concatenates the &#39;style&#39; attribute value into an HTML style attribute without applying esc_attr() or any other escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
