Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2020-23834

Publication date:
04/09/2020
Insecure Service File Permissions in the bd service in Real Time Logic BarracudaDrive v6.5 allow local attackers to escalate privileges to admin by replacing the %SYSTEMDRIVE%\bd\bd.exe file. When the computer next starts, the new bd.exe will be run as LocalSystem.

CVE-2020-12247

Publication date:
04/09/2020
In Foxit Reader and PhantomPDF before 10.0.1, and PhantomPDF before 9.7.3, attackers can obtain sensitive information from an out-of-bounds read because a text-string index continues to be used after splitting a string into two parts. A crash may also occur.

CVE-2020-11493

Publication date:
04/09/2020
In Foxit Reader and PhantomPDF before 10.0.1, and PhantomPDF before 9.7.3, attackers can obtain sensitive information about an uninitialized object because of direct transformation from PDF Object to Stream without concern for a crafted XObject.

CVE-2020-12248

Publication date:
04/09/2020
In Foxit Reader and PhantomPDF before 10.0.1, and PhantomPDF before 9.7.3, attackers can execute arbitrary code via a heap-based buffer overflow because dirty image-resource data is mishandled.

CVE-2020-3545

Publication date:
04/09/2020
A vulnerability in Cisco FXOS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with administrative credentials to cause a buffer overflow condition. The vulnerability is due to incorrect bounds checking of values that are parsed from a specific file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by supplying a crafted file that, when it is processed, may cause a stack-based buffer overflow. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system with root privileges. An attacker would need to have valid administrative credentials to exploit this vulnerability.

CVE-2020-3546

Publication date:
04/09/2020
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco AsyncOS software for Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive information on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of requests that are sent to the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to the interface of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain the IP addresses that are configured on the internal interfaces of the affected device. There is a workaround that addresses this vulnerability.

CVE-2020-3547

Publication date:
04/09/2020
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco AsyncOS software for Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA), Cisco Content Security Management Appliance (SMA), and Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive information on an affected device. The vulnerability exists because an insecure method is used to mask certain passwords on the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by looking at the raw HTML code that is received from the interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain some of the passwords configured throughout the interface.

CVE-2020-3451

Publication date:
04/09/2020
Multiple vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV340 Series Routers could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative credentials to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system (OS) as a restricted user. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.

CVE-2020-3453

Publication date:
04/09/2020

CVE-2020-3478

Publication date:
04/09/2020
A vulnerability in the REST API of Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software (NFVIS) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to overwrite certain files that should be restricted on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient authorization enforcement on an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by uploading a file using the REST API. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to overwrite and upload files, which could degrade the functionality of the affected system.

CVE-2020-3495

Publication date:
04/09/2020
A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber for Windows could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is due to improper validation of message contents. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) messages to the affected software. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the application to execute arbitrary programs on the targeted system with the privileges of the user account that is running the Cisco Jabber client software, possibly resulting in arbitrary code execution.
