Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2024-28799

Publication date:

CVE-2024-41865

Publication date:
14/08/2024
Dimension versions 3.4.11 and earlier are affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by inserting a malicious file into the search path, which the application might execute instead of the legitimate file. This could occur if the application uses a search path to locate executables or libraries. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction.

CVE-2024-41866

Publication date:
14/08/2024
InDesign Desktop versions ID19.4, ID18.5.2 and earlier are affected by a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability that could lead to an application denial-of-service (DoS). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the application, resulting in a denial of service condition. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

CVE-2024-42259

Publication date:
14/08/2024
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:<br /> <br /> drm/i915/gem: Fix Virtual Memory mapping boundaries calculation<br /> <br /> Calculating the size of the mapped area as the lesser value<br /> between the requested size and the actual size does not consider<br /> the partial mapping offset. This can cause page fault access.<br /> <br /> Fix the calculation of the starting and ending addresses, the<br /> total size is now deduced from the difference between the end and<br /> start addresses.<br /> <br /> Additionally, the calculations have been rewritten in a clearer<br /> and more understandable form.<br /> <br /> [Joonas: Add Requires: tag]<br /> Requires: 60a2066c5005 ("drm/i915/gem: Adjust vma offset for framebuffer mmap offset")<br /> (cherry picked from commit 97b6784753da06d9d40232328efc5c5367e53417)

CVE-2024-7347

Publication date:
14/08/2024
NGINX Open Source and NGINX Plus have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_mp4_module, which might allow an attacker to over-read NGINX worker memory resulting in its termination, using a specially crafted mp4 file. The issue only affects NGINX if it is built with the ngx_http_mp4_module and the mp4 directive is used in the configuration file. Additionally, the attack is possible only if an attacker can trigger the processing of a specially crafted mp4 file with the ngx_http_mp4_module.  Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
