LG Electronics sufre un incidente de seguridad debido al ransomware Maze

South Korean company LG Electronics has been the victim of a cyberattack orchestrated by the operators responsible for the Maze ransomware.

Cybercriminals stated that proprietary information had been stolen from them for projects involving large American companies. In total, they claim to have 40GB of Python source code.

So far, they have released 3 screenshots of the stolen information, corresponding to file listings (some with a .kdz extension, which is the format for LG's official firmware code) and parts of code in Python.
