Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2006-7093

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Mambo LaiThai 4.5.4 Security Patch 2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2006-7094

Publication date:
02/03/2007
ftpd, as used by Gentoo and Debian Linux, sets the gid to the effective uid instead of the effective group id before executing /bin/ls, which allows remote authenticated users to list arbitrary directories with the privileges of gid 0 and possibly enable additional attack vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2006-7095

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Integer signedness error in the network_receive_packet function in socket.c in dimension 3 engine (dim3) 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a large data_len value, which is cast to a signed short and results in a buffer overflow.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2006-7096

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Buffer overflow in the network_host_handle_join function in host.c in dimension 3 engine (dim3) 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a long nickname.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2006-7097

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in TaskFreak! before 0.1.4 have unknown impact and attack vectors.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2006-3892

Publication date:
02/03/2007
The Management Console server in EMC NetWorker (formerly Legato NetWorker) 7.3.2 before Jumbo Update 1 uses weak authentication, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2007-0001

Publication date:
02/03/2007
The file watch implementation in the audit subsystem (auditctl -w) in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4 kernel 2.6.9 allows local users to cause a denial of service (kernel panic) by replacing a watched file, which does not cause the watch on the old inode to be dropped.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2006-7084

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Rejected reason: DO NOT USE THIS CANDIDATE NUMBER. ConsultIDs: CVE-2006-7083. Reason: This candidate is a duplicate of CVE-2006-7083. Notes: All CVE users should reference CVE-2006-7083 instead of this candidate. All references and descriptions in this candidate have been removed to prevent accidental usage

CVE-2007-1134

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Unspecified vulnerability in Watchtower (WT) before 0.12 has unknown impact and attack vectors, related to "unauthorized accounts."
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2007-1135

Publication date:
02/03/2007
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in WebMplayer before 0.6.1-Alpha allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) strid parameter to index.php and the (2) id[0] or other id array index parameter to filecheck.php.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2007-1136

Publication date:
02/03/2007
index.php in WebMplayer before 0.6.1-Alpha allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via shell metacharacters in an exec function call. NOTE: some sources have referred to this as eval injection in the param parameter, but CVE source inspection suggests that this is erroneous.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2007-1137

Publication date:
02/03/2007
putmail.py in Putmail before 1.4 does not detect when a user attempts to use TLS with a server that does not support it, which causes putmail.py to send the username and password in plaintext while the user believes encryption is in use, and allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information.
