Colonel of Artillery. Industrial Engineer specializing in electronics and automation. Cryptology specialist. Mr. Candau has several certifications of expertise in ICT security. He has more than 20 years experience in cybersecurity.

The main tasks of his Department are to train the Administration's security specialists, to develop CCN policies, guidelines and reports (CCN-STIC series and CCN-CERT reports), to develop cybersecurity tools in support of the public sector, to supervise system accreditation and to undertake security audits.
