Pablo García is co-founder of Syntagma.org, a private think-tank. Ph.D., Universidad Complutense de Madrid; J.D., Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Legal Advisor to Spanish Parliament (Letrado de las Cortes, Senate). Of Counsel, Ashurst LLP.

Pablo has performed as an Arbitrator for the World Bank (ICSID). And as a Visiting Professor of Law for The College of William & Mary (Virginia, USA).

Director of the specialized review "Revista de Privacidad y Derecho Digital". A member of the group of innovation leaders in the Spanish speaking world "Los 100 de COTEC" (COTEC Foundation). Member of the Board at Internet Society, Spanish Chapter and Foro de la Sociedad Civil. He has worked as an international consultant for the United Nations and the European Union. He has been Director of Human Resources of the Senate of Spain, Secretary General of Madrid´s Regional Parliament and Director of International Relations of Spain´s Congress of Deputies. A Research Fellow at Harvard Law School, he attended postgraduate courses at IE Business School, the University of Kent at Canterbury and the University CEU-San Pablo. He is the author of eight books (in English or Spanish) and editor of another four on various legal issues, especially those connected to the Internet; he has written over 40 articles in scholarly reviews. A regular speaker at various international and domestic forums, as well as a regular contributor to a number of mass and specialized media. He holds the "Cruz de Oficial de la Orden de Isabel la Católica" (a civil decoration granted by the King of Spain).
