Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2024-33606

Publication date:
11/06/2024
An attacker could retrieve sensitive files (medical images) as well as plant new medical images or overwrite existing medical images on a MicroDicom DICOM Viewer system. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability.
Severity CVSS v4.0: HIGH

CVE-2024-4669

Publication date:
11/06/2024
The Events Addon for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Basic Slider, Upcoming Events, and Schedule widgets in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

CVE-2024-28877

Publication date:
11/06/2024
MicroDicom DICOM Viewer is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of DICOM Viewer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability.
Severity CVSS v4.0: HIGH

CVE-2023-4727

Publication date:
11/06/2024
A flaw was found in dogtag-pki and pki-core. The token authentication scheme can be bypassed with a LDAP injection. By passing the query string parameter sessionID=*, an attacker can authenticate with an existing session saved in the LDAP directory server, which may lead to escalation of privilege.

CVE-2024-34406

Publication date:
11/06/2024
Improper exception handling in McAfee Security: Antivirus VPN for Android before 8.3.0 could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service through the use of a malformed deep link.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2024-37301

Publication date:
11/06/2024
Document Merge Service is a document template merge service providing an API to manage templates and merge them with given data. Versions 6.5.1 and prior are vulnerable to remote code execution via server-side template injection which, when executed as root, can result in full takeover of the affected system. As of time of publication, no patched version exists, nor have any known workarounds been disclosed.
