INCIBE has coordinated the publication of a high severity vulnerability affecting the FAST3686 V2 Vodafone router (manufactured by Sagemcom), a hardware device that allows Internet access, which has been discovered by David Utón.

This vulnerability has been assigned the following code, CVSS v3.1 base score, CVSS vector and vulnerability type CWE:

  • CVE-2024-1623: 7.7 | CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N | CWE-613 

Vulnerability fixed in version FAST3686_ONO-SIP_3.709.2 (released in July 2023).


CVE-2024-1623: insufficient session timeout vulnerability in the FAST3686 V2 Vodafone router from Sagemcom. This vulnerability could allow a local attacker to access the administration panel without requiring login credentials. This vulnerability is possible because the 'Login.asp and logout.asp' files do not handle session details correctly.
