1.1 million affected by a data leak in Nissan Canada

The Nissan auto company Nissan has reported a possible leakage of information at its Canadian subsidiary of vehicle financing of both Nissan and Infiniti, its luxury brand.

In total, around 1.1 million users of the financial company have been affected by this theft of information from which, among other data, the names of buyers, address and vehicle identification number have been stolen. However, the company reports that at the moment there are no indications that phone numbers or email addresses have been leaked.

At the moment, the incident continues to be investigated and the impact it may have on users outside of Canada.
