Automotive supplier DENSO suffers from unauthorised access

The Japanese company DENSO, known as one of the world's leading manufacturers of automotive components, has confirmed in an official statement that a third party illegally accessed the network of its subsidiary in Germany.

Following the detection of the unauthorised access, the manufacturer cut the network connection of the affected devices and confirmed that other company facilities were not affected by the incident. It also clarified that no production activities were interrupted and that the incident was reported to the local authorities.
