Bithumb, the electronic currency trading platform has been hacked.

According to Yonhap New Agency, a South Korean news portal, the Bithumb electronic currency trading platform has been hacked. The news has echoed after the call made from the platform to the Korean State Agency for Internet and Security in which they claim that the information of some of its users has been filtered, specifically 3%, percentage that belongs to about 30,000 Users.

According to the company, the attack was perpetrated following the hacking of the personal computer of one of its employees, so only the personal information of users was filtered, such as names and phone numbers. The portfolios of criptomonedas, housed in the central servers, were not reached.

Bithumb has already contacted affected users to inform them of what happened.
