Conduent Incorporated confirms data breach affecting at least 10.5 million users following ccyberattack

At the end of October 2025, Conduent Incorporated informed the authorities that a security breach detected on January 13,  had affected more than 10.5 million of patients. This cybersecurity incident affected part of its technological environment. The company, global proveedor of digital solutions for private and public sector , communicated the incident transparently to its costumers and regulagtory agencies, The compromised information included names, Social Security Numbers (SSNs), dates of birth, medical data, etc.

According to information submitted to the SEC in April and notifications sent to state authorities, an unauthorized actor belonging to the SafePay cybercriminal group accessed a limited set of systems and leaked files linked to certain customers, which involved the personal data of their end users. Estimates gathered from various reports put the scope at more than 10.5 million people in the US.

The company responded by immediately implementing its security protocols, working with external specialists, and strengthening its controls to prevent similar incidents in the future. Conduent continues to collaborate with customers and authorities, taking a proactive approach focused on data protection and operational recovery following the attack.
