Data leak confirmed at Sangoma

Sangoma Technologies Corporation, a company dedicated to providing unified communications solutions, also at the service level (UCaaS), and voice over IP (VoIP) and dedicated to the development of Asterisk and FreePBX projects, has confirmed a data breach after suffering a recent ransomware Conti-type cyberattack that affected one of its servers.

More than 26GB of stolen data was made public on December 23, including information regarding accounting, benefits, salaries and other legal documents of the company. For the time being, it is confirmed that none of its customers' data, nor its products or services, have been compromised.

For its part, Sangoma has initiated an investigation to determine the extent of the incident and will keep those potentially affected informed.
