Disruption at Ardagh Group operations

Global metal and glass packaging supplier, Ardagh Group S.A., reported that it experienced a cybersecurity incident, which did not affect its packaging production plants, but did affect other operations, such as its supply chain, causing delays and disruptions.

In response to the incident, a contingency and business continuity plan was quickly implemented, including the proactive shutdown of IT systems and applications. In addition, a forensic investigation is ongoing while the affected systems are securely and gradually restored.
