Exposed job applicant data from Huntsville Hospital in Alabama

Huntsville Hospital in Alabama announced that the personal data of job applicants may have been compromised following a security incident at the Jobscience recruitment platform, with which they have been collaborating since 2006.

This security breach has affected nearly 15,000 job seekers over the past 12 years, to whom the hospital will report, also offering protection against identity theft to those whose social security number has been compromised.

Burr Ingram, a spokesman for Huntsville Hospital, has indicated that there is no indication that the information has been misused, but that possibility is not ruled out. He has also announced that the hospital will no longer use the services of this provider.
