Fastly network down

Fastly, one of the largest CDN (Content Delivery Network), has reported through Nick Rockwell, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Infrastructure, a grave global outage due to a software bug.

The incident occurred on 8th of June and affected 85% of its network, leaving multiple customers without service. After identifying the cause, this one was isolated and the mechanisms that triggered the bug were disabled. After 49 minutes, 95% of the network was operational again.
