Hyundai informs customers of unauthorised access to its technology systems

Hyundai Motor España has sent a statement to its customers to inform them that the organisation has suffered an unauthorised access to its technology systems and certain information belonging to the customer database, such as e-mails, addresses and telephone numbers, as well as vehicle data, such as VINs, have been exposed.

After detecting the incident, the company has taken appropriate measures to mitigate the attack and has blocked the affected server. In addition, customers have been advised to exercise extreme caution against fraudulent notifications via email, text message or post.
