Information leakage on two San Francisco airport websites

Two websites related to San Francisco International Airport, SFOConnect.com, which provides updates on the airport to passengers, and SFOConstruction.com, which contains information on construction projects at the airport, were the victims of a cyberattack aimed at obtaining the authentication credentials of the users.

Once the cyberattack, which occurred in March, was identified, both web portals were disconnected and the malicious code was removed. In addition, all passwords related to email and access to the airport network were forced to be reset.
