Judy virus infects 36 million Android devices

The study, published by security company Check Point, claims to have discovered a new virus, called Judy, which has infected more than 36 million Android devices.

The purpose of this virus is to use infected devices to generate fraudulent clicks on ads without the consent of the owner of the device, thus generating income for the creators of the virus.

Judy was developed by the Korean company Kiniwini, registered in Google Play as ENISTUDIO corp., And has been found in 41 applications belonging to this company. As confirmed by Google, infected applications have already been removed from Google Play.
