Millions of Google Docs users affected by a phishing attack

Google has confirmed that it was a victim during the first days of May of a sophisticated phishing campaign that affected millions of Google Docs users. This phishing would consisted of receiving a seemingly reliable e-mail that included a link to open a shared document, however, the link would redirected the victim to a false Google Docs Web application, which was intended to deceive users to allow cybercriminals access of emails and contacts of the victim.

Google has published several measures to mitigate the possible damages caused.
