Securitas CEO declared bankrupt after stealing identity

Alf Göransson, executive director of security firm Securitas, has been declared bankrupt by the Stockholm court after his online identity has been hacked. The hacker used the digital identity of Göransson to request a loan on his behalf and subsequently apply to the Swedish authorities for bankruptcy status.

As a result of the incident, the Swedish Office of Registry of Companies has ceased the director of Securitas in its executive positions.

For its part, Securitas has issued an official statement in which it expresses its desire to clarify the facts and that the company has not been affected by the incident.
