Security breach at Stewart International Airport in New York
Chris Vickery, a senior investigator at the MacKeeper Security Center, has released details of a security breach found in Stewart Airport backup systems. According to Vickery more than 700 GB of sensitive information from the airport would have been exposed to the Internet, since they were not protected with any access authentication system. Unprotected information included personal information from the airport staff such as mail and payroll accounts, TSA confidential documents, and even credential files that could have allowed access to internal systems belonging to the airport.
