Security incident at the beverage producer, Campari
Campari Group, an Italian beverage company, has reported a security incident due to Ragnar Locker ransomware, which caused data encryption on some of its servers.
The attack, which was detected on 1st of November, had an immediate response from the company, isolating the affected systems and limiting the operation of others to ensure business continuity.
For the moment, the full extent of the compromised data is unknown, and an investigation is underway. At the same time, corporate systems are being gradually disinfected and restored with additional security measures.
