Several Meliá Group hotel servers suffer a cyber attack

The Meliá hotel chain reported it was the victim of a computer attack in the early morning of 4th of October, affecting several of the group's hotels, which led to the activation of response protocols and containment work.

The incident, which is still being analysed, points to a ransomware type cyber attack. For the time being, work is underway to reduce the impact and return services to normal.
