Teqtivity data leak affects Uber

Teqtivity, a company that provides asset management and tracking services for businesses, has officially notified that its customer data has been compromised due to unauthorised access to its systems by an attacker.

The leaked information, according to the company, includes device information (serial number, model, technical specifications...) and user data (full name, work email, office address...).

As a result of this incident, the Uber platform, which uses Teqtivity's services as a third party provider, has been affected, specifically in the source code associated with mobile device management (MDM) platforms used by Uber and Uber Eats.
