Tesla private data leak

Tesla has suffered a data breach of up to 100,000 employees, customers and business partners, with an estimated volume of 100 GB.

The leaked files point to a large number of complaints from Tesla customers about Tesla's driver assistance programs, with nearly 4,000 about sudden vehicle acceleration or so-called phantom braking.

The data protection supervisory authority in the Netherlands, where Tesla's European headquarters are located, has been informed of the case and the company is currently under investigation in Germany due to a possible massive leak of personal data.
