Canadian government spokespersons have reported that the detection of unauthorized access to a server of the statistical service last March 9 caused the preventive shut down for several days of various online services of  the Statistics Canada Site and the website of the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency).

Wikileaks has begun to publish under the title "Vault 7" material relative to the supposed program of cybersespionage of the CIA, which describes sophisticated software tools and advanced techniques used by the agency to take control among devices such mobile phones, home routers, computers and even smart TVs connected to the Internet.
