Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2023-4244

Publication date:
06/09/2023
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel&amp;#39;s netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation.<br /> <br /> Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter causing a use-after-free vulnerability.<br /> <br /> We recommend upgrading past commit 3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8.

CVE-2023-4208

Publication date:
06/09/2023
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel&amp;#39;s net/sched: cls_u32 component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation.<br /> <br /> When u32_change() is called on an existing filter, the whole tcf_result struct is always copied into the new instance of the filter. This causes a problem when updating a filter bound to a class, as tcf_unbind_filter() is always called on the old instance in the success path, decreasing filter_cnt of the still referenced class and allowing it to be deleted, leading to a use-after-free.<br /> <br /> We recommend upgrading past commit 3044b16e7c6fe5d24b1cdbcf1bd0a9d92d1ebd81.

CVE-2023-4207

Publication date:
06/09/2023
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel&amp;#39;s net/sched: cls_fw component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation.<br /> <br /> When fw_change() is called on an existing filter, the whole tcf_result struct is always copied into the new instance of the filter. This causes a problem when updating a filter bound to a class, as tcf_unbind_filter() is always called on the old instance in the success path, decreasing filter_cnt of the still referenced class and allowing it to be deleted, leading to a use-after-free.<br /> <br /> We recommend upgrading past commit 76e42ae831991c828cffa8c37736ebfb831ad5ec.

CVE-2023-3777

Publication date:
06/09/2023
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel&amp;#39;s netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation.<br /> <br /> When nf_tables_delrule() is flushing table rules, it is not checked whether the chain is bound and the chain&amp;#39;s owner rule can also release the objects in certain circumstances.<br /> <br /> We recommend upgrading past commit 6eaf41e87a223ae6f8e7a28d6e78384ad7e407f8.

CVE-2023-32672

Publication date:
06/09/2023
An Incorrect authorisation check in SQLLab in Apache Superset versions up to and including 2.1.0. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to query tables that they do not have proper access to within Superset. The vulnerability can be exploited by leveraging a SQL parsing vulnerability.<br /> <br />

CVE-2023-37941

Publication date:
06/09/2023
If an attacker gains write access to the Apache Superset metadata database, they could persist a specifically crafted Python object that may lead to remote code execution on Superset&amp;#39;s web backend.<br /> <br /> The Superset metadata db is an &amp;#39;internal&amp;#39; component that is typically <br /> only accessible directly by the system administrator and the superset <br /> process itself. Gaining access to that database should<br /> be difficult and require significant privileges.<br /> <br /> This vulnerability impacts Apache Superset versions 1.5.0 up to and including 2.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.1.1 or later.

CVE-2023-39265

Publication date:
06/09/2023
Apache Superset would allow for SQLite database connections to be incorrectly registered when an attacker uses alternative driver names like sqlite+pysqlite or by using database imports. This could allow for unexpected file creation on Superset webservers. Additionally, if Apache Superset is using a SQLite database for its metadata (not advised for production use) it could result in more severe vulnerabilities related to confidentiality and integrity. This vulnerability exists in Apache Superset versions up to and including 2.1.0.

CVE-2021-36060

Publication date:
06/09/2023
Adobe Media Encoder version 15.2 (and earlier) is affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

CVE-2021-36036

Publication date:
06/09/2023
Magento versions 2.4.2 (and earlier), 2.4.2-p1 (and earlier) and 2.3.7 (and earlier) are affected by an improper access control vulnerability within Magento&amp;#39;s Media Gallery Upload workflow. By storing a specially crafted file in the website gallery, an authenticated attacker with administrative privilege can gain access to delete the .htaccess file. This could result in the attacker achieving remote code execution.
