Her expertise includes strategy development for partnership ecosystems, driving innovation, and delivering solutions in cybersecurity, big data, cloud, and digital transformation. Edu holds an industrial engineering degree, a Fulbright-awarded Master’s in Engineering, and management certifications from IESE, ESADE, INSEAD and UCLA.

I have developed different roles related to cybersecurity, risk management and compliance in consulting and auditing companies for more than 20 years. I am currently Customer Security Director at Ericsson for Spain, Portugal and Latin America. I am also a member of the working group that is developing the 5G cybersecurity standard for the European Union with ENISA.

He is a senior telecommunications, security and privacy professional with 20+ years of career, having assumed different roles and responsibilities in the telco industry. Currently he works as a Customer Security Manager in Nokia and he contributes to security standardization, regulatory management and satisfying customer security requests.

At present he is Emeritus Professor and director of the Castro Alonso Cybersecurity Chair, since it was created. He has been Coordinator of Physics and Mathematics in the ANEP ( National Agency of Evaluation and Prospective), member of the ACSUCyL (Agency for the Quality of the University System in Castilla and Leon) and member of the Professors Committee of ANECA. Main researcher of several research projects de numerosos Proyectos (Local and National) and of contracts with companies, advisor of 14 doctoral thesis and responsable of programas of mathematics and cybersecurity in Cybercamp, financed by INCIBE.
