On 8 May 2023, a known cybercriminal group attempted and failed in an extortion scheme against the Dragos industrial cybersecurity platform.

T-Mobile, the phone operator, reported its second data breach in 2023 (ninth since 2018), after discovering that a group of attackers gained access to the personal information of hundreds of customers between February and March 2023.
