Cybersecurity Summer BootCamp opens for registration for cybersecurity training

INCIBE and OAS organise this annual international programme aimed at specialised groups.

Cybersecurity Summer BootCamp

The National Institute of Cybersecurity of Spain (INCIBE), an entity under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, through the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, and the Organisation of American States (OAS), organise the annual Cybersecurity Summer BootCamp, a free international training programme specialised in cybersecurity, which is aimed at Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), public prosecutors, judges, magistrates, policy makers and specialists from incident response centres (CSIRT). Registration will remain open for all interested parties to submit their applications until 29 May 2023.

This year, the eighth edition of the event already established to be an unique, world-renowned convention, will take place in an in-person format, committed to providing cutting-edge training regarding cybersecurity. The main goal of this training initiative is to explore in-depth the latest techniques to fight against cybercrime, manage cybersecurity incidents and any legislative issues which should be taken into account, as well as how to improve the coordination of incident and cybercrime management.

It should be noted that this edition will be made up of various activities, including: a master seminar made up of international keynote speakers; restricted training workshops, aimed at each of the target audiences, in which specialised topics that may be useful in their daily lives will be addressed; in addition to two entrepreneurship tracks, one imparted by the OAS, and the other by Tec Monterrey.
