Álvaro Michelena, is an engineer in Industrial Electronics and Automation from the University of A Coruña, he is a predoctoral researcher at the CITIC research center of this same university since 2019. During these years he has worked on complex system modeling projects focused on anomaly detection. His research work has been recognized with national and regional awards.

Javier López is Professor at the University of Malaga, and Director of the NICS Lab Research Group. He focuses his research activity mainly in the areas of Network Security Services and Protocols and Protection of Critical Infrastructures,areas in which he has leaded more than fifty research projects, including fifteen projects funded by the European Commission.

Jaime Loureiro Acuña, Telecommunication Engineer from UVIGO (2009), holds Master's degrees in Signal Processing (2010) and Cybersecurity (2021). Since 2016, he leads the data security tech line at Gradiant, specializing in cryptography and digital identity. He has played a key role in transforming technologies like Novawallet and SafeGate into products. He also coordinates Horizon Europe projects and contributes to security committees.

Cyber Challenge: The executive faced with critical situations
An interactive dynamic designed so that managers and entrepreneurs of SME companies can experience first-hand decision-making in cybercrisis situations. In this practical exercise, participants will meet at tables where, through a real-time simulation projected on the screen, they will face four cyber incident situations. The workshop will conclude with a discussion focused on the cyber incident notification flow and lessons learned, addressing key aspects such as cybersecurity training, staff awareness and endpoint protection.
