He distinguished himself as a member of the United Nations Group of Experts (UNGGE) on Advancing Responsible Government Behavior in Cyberspace, as well as Chairman of the OAS Working Group on Confidence Building Measures in Cyberspace. After serving as General Coordinator for Multidimensional Security at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he is currently Senior Director for Cybersecurity at the prestigious firm FTI Consulting.

He joined the National Police Force in 2004. Since then he has served in different operational units of Citizen Security and Judicial Police in central and territorial units of the National Police. She is a member of the Information Technology and Knowledge Law Section of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.
