Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2012-2862

Publication date:
09/08/2012
Use-after-free vulnerability in the PDF functionality in Google Chrome before 21.0.1180.75 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted document.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2012-2863

Publication date:
09/08/2012
The PDF functionality in Google Chrome before 21.0.1180.75 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors that trigger out-of-bounds write operations.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2012-2373

Publication date:
09/08/2012
The Linux kernel before 3.4.5 on the x86 platform, when Physical Address Extension (PAE) is enabled, does not properly use the Page Middle Directory (PMD), which allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) via a crafted application that triggers a race condition.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2012-2136

Publication date:
09/08/2012
The sock_alloc_send_pskb function in net/core/sock.c in the Linux kernel before 3.4.5 does not properly validate a certain length value, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer overflow and system crash) or possibly gain privileges by leveraging access to a TUN/TAP device.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2012-2744

Publication date:
09/08/2012
net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_conntrack_reasm.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.34, when the nf_conntrack_ipv6 module is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and system crash) via certain types of fragmented IPv6 packets.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2012-4004

Publication date:
08/08/2012
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Sleipnir Mobile application 2.2.0 and earlier and Sleipnir Mobile Black Edition application 2.2.0 and earlier for Android allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted application that interacts with an unspecified Sleipnir Mobile function.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2012-2649

Publication date:
08/08/2012
The Sleipnir Mobile application 2.2.0 and earlier and Sleipnir Mobile Black Edition application 2.2.0 and earlier for Android allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary Java methods, and obtain sensitive information or execute arbitrary commands, via a crafted web site.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2012-3424

Publication date:
08/08/2012
The decode_credentials method in actionpack/lib/action_controller/metal/http_authentication.rb in Ruby on Rails 3.x before 3.0.16, 3.1.x before 3.1.7, and 3.2.x before 3.2.7 converts Digest Authentication strings to symbols, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by leveraging access to an application that uses a with_http_digest helper method, as demonstrated by the authenticate_or_request_with_http_digest method.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:

CVE-2012-3440

Publication date:
08/08/2012
A certain Red Hat script for sudo 1.7.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on the /var/tmp/nsswitch.conf.bak temporary file.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2012-2203

Publication date:
08/08/2012
IBM Global Security Kit (aka GSKit) before 8.0.14.22, as used in IBM Rational Directory Server, IBM Tivoli Directory Server, and other products, uses the PKCS #12 file format for certificate objects without enforcing file integrity, which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof SSL servers via vectors involving insertion of an arbitrary root Certification Authority (CA) certificate.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis

CVE-2012-2191

Publication date:
08/08/2012
IBM Global Security Kit (aka GSKit) before 8.0.14.22, as used in IBM Rational Directory Server, IBM Tivoli Directory Server, and other products, does not properly validate data during execution of a protection mechanism against the Vaudenay SSL CBC timing attack, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via crafted values in the TLS Record Layer, a different vulnerability than CVE-2012-2333.
Severity CVSS v4.0: Pending analysis
Last modification:
