As of today, September 9, 2025, HackRTU joins the CVE Program, adopting its best practices as its own from this date onwards. HackRTU will be responsible for coordinating, assigning and publishing the CVEs corresponding to the vulnerabilities detected in its investigations.

HackRTU was founded in early 2025 as the first industrial cybersecurity niche company established in Castile and León. Based in León since September 2025, it is part of the CVE Program as a research CNA, focusing on vulnerabilities detected by its technical team.

Currently, in addition to INCIBE, the organizations MITRE, CISA ICS, JPCERT/CC, Google, Red Hat, Thales and CERT@VDE also perform the role of Root. Furthermore, the CVE program has 470 CNAs distributed across 39 countries, 11 of which are located in Spain, with HackRTU being the ninth CNA under INCIBE, which acts as Root for the CVE Program in Spain.
