She is vice president of W4C Spain, a non-profit association that seeks gender balance in the world of cybersecurity.
Previously and since 2012 she has been part of the Department of National Security of the Presidency of the Government of Spain, passing through various positions, her last responsibility being the Head of the Cybersecurity Unit and the fight against disinformation, also assuming the role of Secretary of the National Cybersecurity Council and member of the Department of National Security in the Working Groups, responsible for coordinating the Permanent Commission on Cybersecurity and the National Forum on Cybersecurity, as well as the Permanent Commission to combat disinformation. Vicent received an MSc. in Telecommunications Engineering in 2001 from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPVLC), Spain. His final degree project was awarded with the National Prize from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) within the Amena-Auna cooperation framework with the topic “Mobile system for the live transmission of images through Internet”.
Vicent joined the UPVLC iTEAM research institute in 2001 to develop projects related to mobile wireless communications for UMTS, IMS and GSM technologies. In 2007, he co-founded Ingenia Telecom S.L. and became CEO & CTO, leading the technical and innovation strategy of the company. After the acquisition of Ingenia Telecom by Astellia in 2014, Vicent became Innovation Director of the company.
