Vulnerabilities

With the aim of informing, warning and helping professionals with the latest security vulnerabilities in technology systems, we have made a database available for users interested in this information, which is in Spanish and includes all of the latest documented and recognised vulnerabilities.

This repository, with over 75,000 registers, is based on the information from the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) – by virtue of a partnership agreement – through which INCIBE translates the included information into Spanish.

On occasions this list will show vulnerabilities that have still not been translated, as they are added while the INCIBE team is still carrying out the translation process. The CVE  (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Standard for Information Security Vulnerability Names is used with the aim to support the exchange of information between different tools and databases.

All vulnerabilities collected are linked to different information sources, as well as available patches or solutions provided by manufacturers and developers. It is possible to carry out advanced searches, as there is the option to select different criteria to narrow down the results, some examples being vulnerability types, manufacturers and impact levels, among others.

Through RSS feeds or Newsletters we can be informed daily about the latest vulnerabilities added to the repository. Below there is a list, updated daily, where you can discover the latest vulnerabilities.

CVE-2010-1224

Publication date:
01/04/2010
main/acl.c in Asterisk Open Source 1.6.0.x before 1.6.0.25, 1.6.1.x before 1.6.1.17, and 1.6.2.x before 1.6.2.5 does not properly enforce remote host access controls when CIDR notation "/0" is used in permit= and deny= configuration rules, which causes an improper arithmetic shift and might allow remote attackers to bypass ACL rules and access services from unauthorized hosts.

CVE-2010-1137

Publication date:
01/04/2010
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in WebAccess in VMware VirtualCenter 2.0.2 and 2.5 and VMware ESX 3.0.3 and 3.5, and the Server Console in VMware Server 1.0, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the name of a virtual machine.

CVE-2010-0844

Publication date:
01/04/2010
Unspecified vulnerability in the Sound component in Oracle Java SE and Java for Business 6 Update 18, 5.0 Update 23, 1.4.2_25, and 1.3.1_27 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors. NOTE: the previous information was obtained from the March 2010 CPU. Oracle has not commented on claims from a reliable researcher that this is for improper parsing of a crafted MIDI stream when creating a MixerSequencer object, which causes a pointer to be corrupted and allows a NULL byte to be written to arbitrary memory.
