I started working in the IT Service of the University of Cádiz. From 1997 until 2014 I was the Director IT Service, first in the University of Burgos and afterwards in the Technical University of Cartagena. In 2017 and 2018 I worked as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the University of Alcalá and since 2019 I am the CISO of the Technical University of Cartagena.
In 2018 I started also as coordinator of the cibersecurity working group in CRUE (Spanish Universities).

Enrique Martínez


Graduate in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid, Master in Public Management (Centro Superior de Estudios de Gestión Análisis y Evaluación UCM), Master in Leadership and Public Management (UIMP-INAP), expert in Policy Evaluation and Quality of Services (AEVAL-UCM) and Diploma in "New forms of leadership and political transformation" (EILx- Goberna).

I have a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and I have been a civil servant in the Senior Corps of Information Systems and Technologies of the State Administration since 2007. In February 2021 I joined the Department of National Security of the Presidency of the Government, as Technical Advisor in the Cybersecurity Unit and against disinformation.
