Technical coordinator at Italian national CERT
Sandro Mari graduated in electronic engineering at University of Rome “La Sapienza” and he received a master in telecommunications from “High Specialization School in Information and Communication Technologies” - Italian Ministry of Communications.
In the following two years he worked as consultant in the ICT security sector, then he joined a multinational Italian company where he was involved in several projects as information security analyst.
He has been working since 2010 at ISCOM – High Institute of Communications and Information Technologies - General Directorate of the Italian Ministry of the Economic Development - as technical officer; he deals with ICT security matters both at operational and regulatory level.
In particular he participated as national technical expert to the discussions regarding the proposal of the Network and Information Security (NIS) Directive in the dedicated working group at the Council of the EU and he is the technical coordinator of the Italian National CERT.
